The online election for the ISBONA Board of Directors for terms beginning on January 1, 2019 will be held from October 12 to October 16, 2018. This will be a plurality election conducted in accordance with our Bylaws and standard procedures for tabulating and verifying results.
A valid election requires participation from one third of our eligible voting members. The eight (8) candidates with the most votes will be elected and will join returning Board director Terri Carlson whose term runs until July 31, 2019. Because all returning candidates are term limited based on their previous service, the two designated three year terms will go to the highest vote getters among the new candidates.
You will receive an email on October 12 which will include a special key and a link enabling you to vote in the election. The election will be conducted through an independent company, ElectionBuddy.com. It is anonymous and very easy to complete. All instructions (plus bio information below) will be included with the ballot.
